THANKS: Mainly to PT, webmistress of Grace Park Online. She helped with most of everything and keeps me sane.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT Rhona Mitra. Please do not send me emails for her; I'm not in contact with her. I do not claim ownership of any of the pictures on this site, except for any captures I make. No copyright infringement is ever intended.

WHY I HAVE THE SITE: I decided to start a website for Rhona after looking for info for her online and not really coming across a lot. This all really got started, in a weird way, a long time ago. First, I was big into Lara Croft way back when the second game got released. Rhona was the spokesmodel for Lara Croft at the time. My interest was solely in the game but I had a passing knowledge of who Rhona was, enough that I voted for her in the online polls when it was first announced they were making the Tomb Raider movie. Then my interest in the games sort of waned and Rhona disappeared from my view for several years. It wasn't until the past year that I realized that was her in Sweet Home Alabama; she seemed so different and I remember that her grabbing at the beauty pageant crowns in one scene being, in my opinion, the only relatable or amusing moment in the entire film. Then I saw her in some episodes of The Practice and really appreciated her character's wit and the chemistry she had with James Spader, but the show wasn't my cup of tea so I never stuck with it or Boston Legal. Then there was Nip/Tuck, a show my sister watched for a short time. I remember her as Kit and she seriously creeped me out. Kudos. I didn't see Rhona again until Doomsday. I am a HUGE fan of The Descent (Ju-no! Ju-no! Ju-no!) and once I heard Neil Marshall made a film about a post-apocalyptic world of course I wanted to see it. It sadly did not reach a theater near me but I eventually got to see it through Netflix and loved it and Rhona.

While all that was festering, I'd seen the first two Underworld films. The first was the best of the two, imo. But I was disappointed by the guns: a film that finally throws werewolves and vampires at each other, two massively powerful mythical creatures, and they make 'em use guns?! As if that weren't bad enough, I though the surrounding players were more interesting than the main characters Selene and Michael. I thought Sonja and Lucian seemed like a more interesting couple and a better focus for a movie. Of course, this all came full circle when shortly after watching Doomsday I found out about the Underworld prequel film. Cautiously excited I avoided spoilers until I caught sight of the trailer and WHAM! Rhona.

So there you go. I like making this site, and I'm bizarrely good at amassing pictures, interviews, etc. Rhona became the focus of all that and that's how this website came to be. Fascinating, eh?
